La Jolla Beach
La Jolla Beach is a very beautiful, long, wide, and very popular beach in the north of La Jolla. Some beaches in this area are hidden and in rocky parts, but this is more than a mile long, which makes many athletes go for a run, many people like the walk and have to space for the whole family. If you walk north and continue under the Scripps Pier you will find Black Beach where clothing is optional.
On this great beach, you will find toilets, showers, rest areas, picnic areas, a huge playground park in front of the beach, and changing stations.
There is a lifeguard tower in the middle of the beach area with several lifeguard stations.
Parking is available but during the summer and on weekends it can get crowded, it is also possible to park on neighboring streets.
At the end of this beach is a favorite part where people can kayak around to the south and see La Jolla Cave, see the seals on the rocks, and enjoy the view.
Plenty of space to walk around and see the scenery. There are so many beautiful flowers and a great ocean view. Great place to take pictures!
After a long walk on the beach, there are a plethora of restaurants to choose from just a few walking blocks away.
So this place is breathtaking! I’m in awe that how beautiful the ocean waters are as well as all the wildlife present. I highly recommend it to parents with little ones.
This place in San Diego is a must-visit. A small town with lots of restaurants. Parking is free and on the roadside.
