Knee Raise
Knee raises have many benefits, they help you improve your posture, help you get a better balance and coordination. They do not target abdominal muscles but they work your core, entire leg, hips, and part of your lower back and lower abs. To be more specific we could name the iliopsoas muscles or hip flexors which is a primary part of this exercise.
There are several variations of knee raises, such as the hanging knee raise which integrates your arms into the game.
In this exercise routine, you will need a box, crate or a step. And the steps are very simple:
- Stand in front of your box.
- Step on it while your raise your opposite knee up.
- Step down and do the same thing on the other side.
