Rape Aggression Defense
Once upon a time, the perception regarding women was that they would not be able to defend themselves against a man. However, today many programs are throwing that theory out the window. One such program is the Rape Aggression Defense system (R.A.D.) developed in 1989 as a new method of defense for women against sexual aggression.
On these training sessions, the attacker is fully covered with protective gear to help facilitate training for any woman participating in these classes. The main goal is not to let anyone put a hand on you and walk out safely.
As a Martial Artist, I strongly believe every kid on earth should learn Martial Arts, not for the training, kicking and punching but for the discipline, respect, dedication, hard work, and honor. Women are always more vulnerable and they all should know how to defend themselves.
