Learn Arnis, Eskrima & Kali

Arnis, which can also be known as Eskrima or Kali is the national martial art of the Philippines. It is said that Arnis may have roots in India, that it came to the Philippines with the people that traveled through Indonesia to the Philippine Islands. Spanish explorers have records of Filipino martial arts, some expeditions fought tribesmen armed with knives and sticks. So there is a record that in Philippines Arnis had been around for centuries.

Filipino Sticks are the most common weapon in Arnis, constructed from rattan which is hard and durable, it can be useful against blades. For years these sticks have been constructed with wood, nowadays there are some versions of aluminum that are lighter, plastic and foam for training purposes.
