Arm Balance in Yoga

These Yoga Arm and Balance exercises are considered advanced but if you have a certain level of practice then you could try them. These are great guides for you if you are interested in improving your arm balance.

This exercise uses your core, but it is easier than it looks but you need concentration and discipline so do not feel intimidated by it.




Easy Arm Balance Astavakrasana

This exercise uses your core too, but you do not need to be very flexible, just follow the steps, make sure your leg is over your shoulder but not tensed. You will lift yourself and then lean forward to balance the weight of your body.

Recommendations:

  • Do not forget to practice your session on a stable surface.
  • Do not forget your mat.
  • Before trying the Arm Balance stretch your legs, lower back, and hips.
  • Do the pose one step at a time, do not jump to the pose because it might make you lose your balance.
