Difference between Softball & Baseball

The game of softball and the game of baseball are very similar in a lot of ways but there is also a lot of differences. It’s very similar in the object of the game; which is, two teams playing against each other with one team trying to score more runs than the other. Which ever team scores more wins the game. However, in softball, our field dimensions and equipment and strategies are slightly different. The biggest difference comes in the difference in the size of the ball. In softball we use a larger ball, either 11 or 12 inches. But baseball is only nine inches. Our field is also different; baseball fields the base-path are 90 feet apart, where in softball ours are only 60 feet apart.
