How to Do the Cruyff Turn in Soccer

The Cruyff Turn is great for creating some space, changing directions, and then making a pass. In this case, I approach the defender with a fake kick, the defender thinks I’m gonna cross the ball, or shoot the ball, they kind of duck, and then I drag the ball behind my support leg with the inside of the foot, changing directions. Named after Johann Cruyff, a famous Dutch midfielder from the 1970s, the Cruyff Cut.
