Stance Uses
This stance has many benefits and you can like this:
- It helps you align your body for a front kick
- Use the knee to press the attacker’s calf
- If the attacker is on the ground you can keep him there by pressing your knee down
- Can be used to parry the attacker’s leg
Close Kneel Step by Step
- You can start on your Neutral Stance
- Slightly move your rear knee facing forward
- Your rear leg sits on the ball of the foot
- Try the same move with your other side

Recommendations
- Keep your back straight at all times
- Keep your Kenpo guard up at all times
- Your knee does not touch the ground, imagine you are pressing your knee on an attacker who is on the ground
