Kenpo Karate

Kenpo Karate is Martial Art focused on Self Defense Techniques, is an American Martial Art founded in the United States by Edmund Parker, it is said is the art with the most self-defense techniques than any other Martial Art.

It has 10 Self Defense techniques in Yellow belt, 24 self-defense techniques in orange belt, 24 self-defense techniques in purple belt, 24 self-defense techniques in blue belt, 24 self-defense techniques in green belt, 24 self-defense techniques in first degree brown belt, then on second degree black belt is where you find extensions of the lower rank self-defense techniques.

It is a complex Martial Art where isolates groups of kicks, punches, strikes, stances in sets where the student has to study a group of specific moves. You will find stance set 1, stance set 2, blocking set 1, blocking set 2, finger set 1, finger set 2, kicking set 1, kicking set 2, striking set 1, striking set 2, and others.

It also has forms or katas which are unique in their organization because they start with 3 short forms, then 3 long forms and lastly advanced forms up to form 8.
