Jean Claude also starred another famous movie called Kickboxer released in 1989. This movie was a success and positioned JCVD as one of the top actors in Hollywood. Many have said Jean Claude is not a real Martial Artist but he used to be a professional full contact or kickboxer in Europe, he competed in many tournaments before coming to the United States and work as an actor.
