Arm Triangle Choke
All right guys, I’m doing one last arm triangle, and this was a real tricky one. Again, great move. It’s an old, old, old move. I saw it executed in the Mundial’s in like 2001 or 2002 in, but it’s very applicable to Nogi and MMA. So, it starts in one of the best positions in Jujitsu in the back. So, I’m at the back and I’m going for the rear making choke, but I’m not getting it. He starts escaping. I get my underhook here. Notice how I transition from the back to the arm triangle. One more time. I’m going to start this way. I’m attacking the choke, around the back, but I don’t get it. I reestablish my underhook. That’s the key, my underhook. Now, as he starts escaping, I come over. I slide my arm under, base, trap the head. Now, again guys, we have to adjust. Make sure his head is tight against my arm, here.
